I’m Dan, a UI/UX designer crafting digital products that makes experiences a little more delightful. I have a background in visual design and design thinking that I use to leverage my practice.
Growing up I always loved creating - whether through drawing, making short films, or building legos - I was always fascinated with the arts. While watching my childhood favourite film, Spirited Away, I particularly remember making the decision that I wanted to use storytelling as a way to help people.
Fast forward to University - I fell in love with the world of design. Visual design became a way to communicate ideas and make messages easier to understand, but I wanted to create work that impacted people. While learning more about UI/UX design, it clicked that this was my way to help people through storytelling.
When I’m not thinking about or practicing my design craft, you can find me at my favourite artist’s concerts, trying to teach new tricks to my dog, playing video games, or taking photos of my friends (among many more things).
